What at first gives off an impression of being a standard home attack thriller is changed into something more intricate, if at last very little all the more remunerating, in Adam Schindler’s directorial debut. The tale of an agoraphobe who can’t get away from her home when it’s broken into by three men plan on burglary, Intruders at any rate offers a captivating turn or two.
Anna (Beth Riesgraf) gets herself alone in her extensive home after her darling sibling Conrad (Timothy T. McKinney) kicks the bucket from a long session with tumor. Her lone human contact is with her sibling’s legal advisor (Leticia Jimenez), who just visits to finish some printed material, and a lively supper deliveryman (Rory Culkin) with whom she’s framed a well disposed bond.
